Lanterns of Heian Shrine

Built in 1895 as a partial replica of the Imperial Palace of the Heian Period, the Heian Shrine in Kyoto is dedicated to the first & last emperors that reigned from Kyoto, Emperor Kammu & Emperor Komei respectively.
