In April 2006, my husband and I spent 9 days exploring the countryside and cities of southern Ireland like Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kilarney, Adare, and Waterford. Despite being a bit under the weather for most of our vacation, we were still able to make new Irish friends, drink Guinness, feast on fish and chips, and see a number of amazing historical sites.
